1. Purpose
This Sales Policy forms part of your contract with Raffled UK Limited when you use Dot.st, DropCatch.st, or Premium.st. It explains pricing finality, all sales are final rules, and product-specific terms for registrations, backorders, auctions, and Buy-Now marketplace sales.
Capitalised terms match our Terms of Service unless defined here.
2. General rule — all sales are final
Except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, all charges, purchases, and successful transaction outcomes on the network are final and non-refundable, including but not limited to:
- successful domain registrations and renewals;
- successful backorder outcomes and related success fees;
- auction hammer prices and buyer premiums disclosed at settlement;
- Buy-Now and accepted negotiated marketplace purchases;
- platform commissions and listing fees;
- wallet top-ups (except where duplicate/erroneous charges are proven);
- verification deposits disclosed as non-refundable at checkout.
By completing checkout, placing a binding bid, submitting a Buy-Now offer, or authorising a backorder, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the price, fees, and final-sale nature of the transaction.
3. Domain registrations and renewals (Dot.st)
3.1 Registration and renewal fees are charged at the time of successful registry submission (or as shown at checkout). Once the registry accepts the command, the fee is earned and non-refundable, including if you later delete the name, change your mind, or fail to use the domain.
3.2 If registration fails due to our systems or registry rejection before a successful create, we will not charge a registration fee or will credit/refund any amount already taken for that failed attempt.
3.3 Multi-year renewals, premium pricing, redemption fees, and transfer charges are shown before payment and are final upon success.
3.4 You are responsible for enabling auto-renewal, maintaining wallet balance, and updating payment methods. Expiry due to your inaction is not grounds for refund.
4. Backorders (DropCatch.st)
4.1 Backorders are not guaranteed. You pay or authorise charges according to the flow shown at booking (wallet hold, card authorisation, or hybrid).
4.2 If the name is not caught for you, success fees do not apply. Holds and unused authorisations are released per issuer and wallet rules described in our Payment & Payout Policy.
4.3 If the name is caught for you (directly or via auction you win), the applicable fee up to your maximum bid or hammer price is final.
4.4 Deposits or verification charges labelled non-refundable at checkout remain non-refundable.
4.5 Contested catches resolved by public auction on Premium.st are final for the winning bidder at the hammer price plus disclosed fees/taxes.
5. Auctions (Premium.st — unified network auctions)
5.1 A bid is a binding offer to purchase if you win, subject to account verification, wallet/card coverage, and compliance checks.
5.2 Hammer price at lot close (including anti-sniping extensions) is the winning price. The winner must pay within the disclosed settlement window.
5.3 Reserve prices — if a reserve is not met, the lot may close without a sale; no charge applies to bidders except any disclosed participation holds released according to policy.
5.4 No-bid or reserve-not-met user-submitted auctions may count toward listing strike rules described in our platform terms.
5.5 Proxy bids and card authorisation — we may authorise or hold funds up to your maximum bid. Winning charges are final.
5.6 Seller commissions on hammer price are deducted per the Payment & Payout Policy before seller disbursement.
6. Buy-Now and negotiations (Premium.st)
6.1 Buy-Now prices and accepted offers create binding obligations to pay the stated amount through checkout or invoice settlement.
6.2 Member-to-member escrow sales require timely buyer payment and seller cooperation (auth codes, transfer steps). Failure to perform may forfeit deposits or trigger penalties without refund.
6.3 Admin-owned inventory and internal fulfillment paths may transfer without external escrow; payment is still final once settlement completes.
6.4 Listing removal by the seller after a binding buyer commitment may not entitle the buyer to compensation beyond our dispute processes.
7. Taxes and currency
Prices may be shown in USD with EUR or other charge currencies at checkout. VAT or sales tax may apply based on your billing country and will be shown where configured (e.g. Stripe Tax). Tax amounts are final once invoiced.
8. Errors and manifest mistakes
We may cancel or correct transactions affected by obvious pricing errors, system bugs, or fraud, and will refund erroneous charges. This does not apply to buyer's remorse or market value changes after a valid sale.
9. Chargebacks and reversals
Initiating unwarranted chargebacks or payment reversals after a final sale may result in account suspension, domain suspension, listing removal, debt recovery, and reporting to fraud databases.
