1. Purpose
This Abuse Policy describes how Raffled UK Limited handles reports of harmful, illegal, or policy-violating use of .st domain names and services across Dot.st, DropCatch.st, and Premium.st.
We take abuse seriously and cooperate with the .st registry, law enforcement, and affected parties within our role as registrar, marketplace operator, or infrastructure provider.
2. How to report abuse
Primary channel: use our secure report form at https://dot.st/report-abuse (also available from any network footer under "Report abuse").
You must verify your email address via the link we send before the report enters our review queue. This reduces spam and false reports.
Include:
- the full domain name (.st only for registry escalation paths);
- category (phishing, malware, illegal content, etc.);
- exact URL(s) where harmful content appears;
- a clear description of the issue;
- your contact email for follow-up.
For billing, transfers, or account access issues, use Support instead — not the abuse form.
For copyright or trademark complaints, include evidence of your rights and the infringing use. We may request additional documentation.
3. What we address
Examples we investigate:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Phishing / fraud | Fake login pages, payment scams, impersonation |
| Malware | Drive-by downloads, botnet C2, malicious scripts |
| Illegal content | Content unlawful in relevant jurisdictions where we have notice |
| Spam | Large-scale unsolicited email originating from our registrant's infrastructure (with logs) |
| Rights infringement | Counterfeit goods, clear trademark/phishing targeting |
| Network abuse | DNS abuse, open resolvers used in attacks (where we operate DNS) |
4. What we may do
Depending on severity, verification, and registry rules, actions may include:
- contacting the registrant/account holder;
- requesting remediation within a stated deadline;
- suspending DNS or placing domains on clientHold/equivalent registry status;
- locking accounts or removing marketplace listings;
- escalating to the .st registry for names we sponsor;
- referring matters to law enforcement;
- documenting repeat offenders for account termination.
We act in good faith on notice; mistaken reports may be rejected.
5. Registry escalation
Where a domain is not sponsored by Dot.st, we may log your report and direct you to the sponsoring registrar identified in public WHOIS. For names we sponsor, we may escalate under registry policy.
6. Emergency
For imminent harm (active phishing against financial institutions, child safety emergencies), mark urgency in your description and email abuse@dot.st with subject URGENT in addition to the form.
We do not guarantee 24/7 response but prioritise credible imminent-harm reports.
7. Privacy
We process reporter and registrant data under our Privacy Policy. We may share necessary information with the registry, hosts, or authorities.
8. Misuse of reporting
Knowingly false, bulk, or harassing reports may result in blocking of reporter addresses and legal action.
9. No monitoring obligation
We are not obliged to proactively monitor all customer content or DNS. We respond to notice consistent with industry practice and applicable law.
