Escrow for member marketplace sales

Platform-Guided vs Standard escrow after winning a user-listed auction or sale.

Member-to-member sales on Premium.st use escrow to protect buyer and seller during transfer.

When escrow opens:

After you win a user-submitted auction or complete an agreed member sale, open the escrow workspace linked from your Dot.st account (auction escrow area).

Choose a mode (member listings only):

Platform-Guided — the network helps coordinate auth codes, verification footprints, and transfer steps internally.

Standard Self-Guided — you and the seller handle transfer directly at external registrars using the auth code flow described on screen.

Dropcatch contested auctions do not offer this choice; they use internal fulfillment after payment instead.

Seller steps:

Provide a valid auth code when requested. If a code goes stale, submit a fresh code promptly. Sellers receive notifications when buyers pay.

Buyer steps:

Select your preferred mode where applicable, confirm payment on Dot.st, and report transfer problems through the escrow page if auth codes fail.

Completion:

Escrow closes when registry transfer confirms or guided steps mark complete. Payout timing for sellers follows the payment policy.

Stuck escrow? Open dot.st/support from your signed-in account and include the auction ID and domain name.
